Ken Williams prints of Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham

New Hall Mill has acquired a selection of local prints by the late Ken J Williams, a supporter of the Mill and one of the original members of the Sutton Coldfield Local History Research Group.

The prints were donated to the Mill after Ken's passing by his wife, Maureen, who at that time, was a volunteer in our tea room. Maureen wanted the prints to be sold for the benefit of Mill funds. Sadly, Maureen too has now passed away, but the family are keen to continue to support the Mill in the same way.

The prints were all drawn and printed between 1974 and 1980, in small runs of 100 or 200. A few are reprints, and the last appears to have been published in 1986. Sadly, none of the prints we have feature New Hall Mill.

The prints are available to buy at Open Days - you'll find them in The Stable, our gift shop and exhibition room. Please do visit our shop to buy some. If you remember Ken and Maureen, you may also like to visit the tree in the meadow which was planted in Ken's memory.
