New Hall Mill Open Day 11th May 2025

Sunday 11th May 2025 was our first Open Day in 2025 (National Mills Day). We all had a fantastic day, with the Mill in full working order, and plenty of our freshly milled wholemeal flour available in return for a donation. We had 1239 visitors - a record number for a season launch - thanks to our amazing volunteers, our wonderful exhibitors, and the fabulous weather!

Thank you to all our lovely visitors for the appreciative comments we received, both in person and on our Facebook page. It's so gratifying for our volunteers to hear how much you love your visits to the Mill.

Thanks also to the businesses who donated raffle prizes for our first ever raffle! These included a Sunday lunch for two at New Hall Hotel, a family meal deal from Walmley's Take-away, a box of Dubai chocolates from Midlands Hydraulic Services Ltd, a £10 gift voucher from Creative Cutting, and a £10 gift voucher from the Central Co-op.

We are all looking forward to our next open day on 8th June 2025.
