In the grounds: local artist Alex Kelly

Weather permitting, Alex Kelly, a Birmingham-based artist, hopes to set up his easel and work en plein air in the grounds. Alex is a Master Mentor for an international artist community, where he helps fellow artists refine their skills in oil painting. He captured the above scene of New Hall Mill during a Mill Open Day in May 2012. The painting above is available as a limited edition of only 25 archival Giclée prints created from the original oil painting. These are available to buy in our Stable Gift Shop.

The Miller and his Marigold

The Miller and his Marigold is a tender Regency romance set at New Hall Mill, written by one of our volunteers, Sheridan Parsons (the one with the pink hair). You can buy a copy in the Gift Shop. It is also available FREE on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited (no device needed) as well as on Apple Books.
