Shopping at the Mill

Shopping at the Mill

On Open Days you will find a variety of stalls and sales areas around the site:

Guide Books and Gifts

Our guide books and a variety of gifts and souvenirs are available to buy in the Stable Gift Shop.

Pre-Loved Books

We sell pre-loved fiction books and children's books in the Stable Gift Shop on Open Days.

Bric-a-Brac and Collectibles

A wide variety of bargains can be found at Auntie Wainwright's in the huts near the entrance.

Garden Plants and Produce

On Open Days we sell seasonal fresh produce in our little green hut, mostly grown by our wonderful volunteers in the Miller's Garden.

In the Mill

Flour is produced to demonstrate the mill in operation and is not manufactured commercially. It cannot be guaranteed to meet food safety standards. Any flour produced on open days during these demonstrations is available for collection on the ground floor and is used entirely at your own risk. Donations towards the upkeep of the mill are welcome, but they do not constitute payment for flour.

Visiting Exhibitors

On Open Days we often welcome visiting traders who sell extras such as bread, jams, chutneys, and local honey. Look out for them around the grounds!
